Ms. Girard grew up in Lawrenceville and later attended Georgia State University, where she received her BFA in Art Education in 2013. Through teaching classes at a local art museum and student-teaching in Fulton County Schools, Ms. Girard learned from many wonderful and inspiring educators and began her own teaching career with FCS in 2014. In addition to her passion for teaching students about art and all of the transferrable skills that come with it, Ms. Girard also loves reading, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Ms. Girard is so excited to join the Abbotts Hill community and can’t wait to be your Art teacher!
