About Our Principal
Dr. Stabler was born and raised in Ohio, where both her parents were educators. She attended the University of Akron and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a teacher in Ohio while earning her Master’s Degree in Education Leadership. After teaching for several years, she became an administrator while continuing to purse a degree in higher education.
She relocated to Atlanta and accepted a position as assistant principal at Summit Hill Elementary School. While working at Summit Hill, she was selected to become principal of a new Fulton County School, Abbotts Hill Elementary. The school opened in the fall of 2000. Students attending came from 3 neighboring schools. At first, it was challenging to merge 3 different school cultures, but as Abbotts Hill approaches its' 20th anniversary, a uniquely diverse school community has been created. In 2005, she completed her Doctorate in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Currently, she lives with her family in Cobb County and has a daughter who is a senior in high school. Dr. Stabler enjoys with parents and teachers to help students be the best that that they can be.
